The Yayi Progressives Movement (YPM) has announced a fresh date for its highly anticipated Ogun-East Mega Rally, shifting the event from Wednesday, October 28, to Friday, October 30, 2026.

Despite the change in date, the political support group confirmed that the venue and scheduled time remain unchanged.

In an official statement released to journalists on Tuesday by its Media and Publicity Department, under the directorate, Comr. Oluseun Odunneye who explained that the adjustment was necessary to allow for deeper coordination and meticulous fine-tuning of final arrangements, ensuring a seamless and orderly event.

While expressing regret for any inconvenience the sudden change might cause, YPM extended its appreciation to members, supporters, and key stakeholders for their patience, flexibility, and unwavering cooperation.

According to the revised timetable, the mega rally will officially kick off at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 30, at the designated venue.

Ahead of the main rally, a solidarity trek will take place, commencing sharply at 7:00 a.m. from the Mobalufon Under Bridge in Ijebu-Ode, where participant accreditation will also be conducted. Attendees are strongly advised to arrive early and collaborate fully with marshals and designated officials to maintain order.

YPM used the opportunity to reiterate its dedication to core values of unity, coordination, and constructive engagement among its supporters, emphasizing the power of collective effort in achieving the movement's strategic goals.

All members, supporters, and well-wishers have been urged to note the new date and make necessary adjustments to their plans.

The Ogun-East Mega Rally serves as a cornerstone political mobilization event backing the aspirations of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, widely known as Yayi.
