    Ogun State APC Congress

    The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State on Tuesday held its State Congress at the Cultural Centre, Abeokuta, bringing together party leaders, delegates, and members from across the three senatorial districts of the state.



    The congress, which witnessed a large turnout of party faithful, featured the affirmation of State Executive Committee (EXCO) members representing Ogun Central, Ogun East, and Ogun West Senatorial Districts.


    Party stakeholders described the exercise as peaceful and well-coordinated, noting that it reflected unity and internal cohesion within the party structure in the state. Delegates at the congress unanimously affirmed the list of state executives, signaling a vote of confidence in the leadership of the party at the state level.


    The Governor, Ogun State Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON while addressing members during the event, commends party leaders  the maturity displayed by aspirants and supporters throughout the congress process. They urged the newly affirmed State EXCO members to prioritize inclusiveness, grassroots mobilization, and effective coordination as the party prepares for future political engagements.


    The congress also provided an opportunity for party chieftains to reiterate their commitment to strengthening the APC’s dominance across Ogun State. Leaders from the three senatorial districts pledged continued collaboration to advance the party’s programmes and consolidate its electoral successes.


    Security personnel were present at the venue to ensure orderliness, while electoral officials from INEC supervised the affirmation process in line with party guidelines.


    The Ogun State APC State Congress concluded with a renewed call for unity, discipline, and loyalty among members as the party moves forward with its organizational and political agenda.
