The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Yesterday, wednesday 4, 2026 received the management team of Zenith Bank led by its Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Adaora Umeoji, in a meeting aimed at strengthening collaboration and exploring new business opportunities to support the state’s development agenda.
The meeting, held at the Government House, brought together key officials of the Ogun State Government and the Zenith Bank delegation to discuss areas of mutual interest, particularly in investment, financial services, and strategic partnerships that could accelerate economic growth in the state.
Speaking during the engagement, Governor Abiodun reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to creating a conducive business environment that encourages private sector participation in infrastructure development, industrial expansion, and job creation.
The visit by the bank’s leadership provided an opportunity for both parties to deliberate on ways the financial institution could further support Ogun State’s ongoing economic and infrastructural development initiatives.
Participants at the meeting expressed optimism that deeper collaboration between the Ogun State Government and Zenith Bank would open new pathways for investment, strengthen financial inclusion, and contribute to the broader developmental goals of the state.
The engagement forms part of the Abiodun administration’s continuous efforts to build strategic partnerships with leading financial institutions and investors to drive sustainable growth across Ogun State.
