Hon. Mrs. Toyin Jekami has been elected as a State Officer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the party’s State Congress held at the Cultural Centre in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria
Hon. Toyin Jekami who hailed from Agbowa, Ward 15, Makun, Sagamu has continued to gain recognition within Ogun State’s political landscape as a prominent grassroots mobiliser and women leading leader in the All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly across Sagamu and the wider Remo axis.
The congress, which brought together party delegates, leaders, and stakeholders from across the state, concluded with the emergence of new state executives to steer the affairs of the party.
Hon. Jekami’s election marks a significant legacy in her political journey within the APC structure.
A known grassroots mobiliser, Jekami has been actively involved in party organization and campaign coordination, particularly in the Sagamu and Remo axis of Ogun State. Her emergence as a State Officer is widely seen and congratulated by party members as a recognition of her commitment to strengthening the party’s presence at the grassroots level.
Party leaders at the congress charged the newly elected state executives to promote unity, discipline, and effective coordination ahead of future political activities in the state.
Hon. Jekami, in her remarks, expressed gratitude to party leaders, delegates and His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON for the confidence reposed in her, pledging to work collaboratively with other executives to advance the goals and vision of the APC in Ogun State.
