Renowned traditional leader and elder statesman, Chief Dr. Olorogun Sunny Kuku, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful, Sons and daughters of Ijebuland on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, celebrating the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message released to commemorate the festival, Chief Kuku commended Muslims for their steadfast devotion, discipline, and spiritual commitment throughout Ramadan. He noted that the period of fasting, prayer, and charity reflects the core values of Islam, which promote peace, compassion, and unity in society.
The respected leader urged the Muslim Ummah to sustain the virtues of patience, tolerance, and generosity imbibed during the holy month, emphasizing that such values are essential for national cohesion and development.
Chief Kuku also called on Nigerians, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences, to continue to live in harmony and work collectively towards the progress and stability of the nation. He stressed the importance of using the festive period to offer prayers for peace, security, and economic growth.
While wishing Muslims Eid Mubarak! He prayed that the blessings of the season bring renewed hope, good health, and prosperity to all.
