A strategic synergies meeting was held at the Awujale’s Palace involving members of the Ijebu Traditional Interregnum Council and the Fusengbuwa Chieftains (Olori Ebi), as part of ongoing efforts to fine-tune the required processes for the selection of the next Awujale of Ijebuland.
The high-level engagement focused on aligning traditional procedures and ensuring that all laid-down customs are meticulously observed in the emergence of a new monarch. Participants reaffirmed their collective commitment to transparency, unity, and the preservation of Ijebu heritage.
Accordingto sources, all relevant stakeholders are working round the clock to ensure that Ijebus at home and in the diaspora are presented with a deserving and widely accepted candidate for the revered throne.
