The senator's intervention has continued to attract widespread commendation from stakeholders across Ogun Waterside.

In a letter dated June 20, 2026, they expressed profound appreciation to Senator Adeola for facilitating the restoration of electricity to the area, described the project as a life-changing intervention.

According to the forum, "The restoration of electricity will revive economic activities, enable students to study at night, empower artisans to resume their trades, reactivate cold storage facilities and restore hope to our communities. This is not merely the restoration of electricity; it is the restoration of dignity, opportunity and economic life."

The project is expected to significantly improve socio-economic activities across the benefiting communities and further underscores Senator Adeola's commitment to grassroots development and inclusive governance.

"I was disturbed to learn that a vast area of my state has been in darkness for more than a decade. The impact on the economy and the well-being of the people is enormous. While government has enormous responsibilities, there are occasions when those of us whom God has blessed must step in to complement government efforts. That informed my decision to personally finance the restoration of electricity to these communities," the senator said

During a meeting with the lead contractor and the representative of Ogun Waterside State Constituency in the Ogun State House of Assembly,  Senator Adeola charged the contractors to ensure timely delivery of the project, expressing optimism that residents would soon witness the return of electricity after years of darkness.
