The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area, on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, successfully held its first leaders’ meeting for the year 2026 at the party’s newly established LGA Secretariat located at Obalende, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
According to Hon. Gbede Abiodun, ADC Ijebu-Ode Local Government Party Chairman, the meeting marked a significant milestone for the party in the LGA, as it brought together selected party leaders from all the 11 wards within Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area. The gathering provided an avenue for strategic discussions, party strengthening, and alignment of leadership vision for the year ahead.
In attendance were key party officials, including the Deputy State Chairman, the Ogun East Senatorial Chairman, the Assistant State Secretary, and the Ogun East Senatorial District Transition Committee Chairman. Their presence underscored the importance of the meeting and demonstrated strong support from the state and senatorial leadership of the party.
Discussions during the meeting focused on party unity, grassroots mobilization, organizational development, and preparations for future political engagements. Leaders emphasized the need for cooperation across all wards to ensure the growth and success of ADC in Ijebu-Ode and Ogun State at large.
