Itele High School celebrates 47th Founders Day which is the first of its Kind. The Founders’ Day marks a significant milestone celebration in the journey of the school. The School administrators Mr Jones A Adenuga, Junior School principal and Mrs Odugbile, senior School principal collaborated to celebrates it in a low key, the legacies of the Past Heroes of Itele High School founded in 1978.
The 47th Founders day is dedicated in remembering and honouring the visionary minds of whose hard work, determination, and dedication laid the foundation of this great institution. The impact of Hon Attacker who build a beffiting Hall and the thumbprints of the Old Students in the development of the school
It is also a day to reflect on how far we have come and to renew our commitment to the ideals and values that guide us.
The celebration began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by special Guest : HRH, Oba Engr M. A. Kasali MFR the Iboriaran and Moyegeso of Itele Ijebu Kingdom, Rt. Hon. Abdul-Mojeed Adesegun Adekoya, 9th Assembly Chief whip Federal House of Representative ( Ijebu East LGA, ) followed by an invocation songs by the Senior School representative led by Mr. Odufejo that created an atmosphere of reverence and gratitude. The Senior School Principal respected Principal then delivered the welcome address, highlighting the achievements of the institution since its inception and expressing heartfelt appreciation to all who contributed to its growth.
Next, we had a brief presentation on the history and vision of our founders, reminding us of their noble mission — to provide quality education, nurture talent, and build responsible citizens for our nation. The Chief Guest, in his/her inspiring address, applauded the institution for its remarkable progress and encouraged everyone to continue striving for excellence.
The cultural segment of the celebration showcased the creativity and talent of our students through songs, dances, and skits that reflected our institution’s journey, values, and aspirations. Prizes were also distributed to students who have excelled in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who made this day a memorable one. The celebration truly reminded us of our roots and inspired us to uphold the legacy of our founders with pride and dedication.
As we celebrate this first Founders’ Day, we look ahead with renewed enthusiasm and determination to take our institution to greater heights, keeping alive the vision and spirit of our founders.
