The Ogun State Police Command on Monday, June 8, 2026, published an updated directory of telephone numbers for Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) across the state as part of efforts to enhance public access to security services and strengthen community policing.
The updated contact list also includes the Gateway Shield Complaint Toll-Free Line, emergency response numbers, and control room contacts, providing residents with multiple channels to report crimes, suspicious activities, emergencies, and cases of police misconduct.
According to the Command, the initiative is aimed at improving communication between the police and members of the public, while ensuring prompt response to security concerns across Ogun State. Citizens were encouraged to make use of the published numbers to provide credible information that could assist law enforcement agencies in crime prevention and investigation.
The Command reiterated its commitment to safeguarding lives and property and urged residents to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies in maintaining peace and public safety throughout the state.
The Gateway Shield General Complaints Toll-Free Line remains 0800 000 9111, while emergency control room numbers include 0906 283 7609, 0912 014 1706, 0915 102 7369, and 0708 497 2994.
