The Senatorial Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun East, Otunba Dr. Adeleke Adedoyin, popularly known as Baba Asoludero, has declared strong support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) as the party’s governorship candidate for the 2027 Ogun State election. He also endorsed Prince Dapo Abiodun for the Ogun East Senatorial seat at the National Assembly.
The endorsement was announced during a New Year Thanksgiving celebration hosted by Baba Asoludero at his Asoludero Villa in Sagamu on Sunday, January 11, 2026. The event attracted hundreds of APC stakeholders, including party elders, leaders, executives, and members from across the senatorial district.
Addressing the gathering, Baba Asoludero stressed the need for unity and collective commitment within the party as preparations begin for the 2027 general elections. He expressed confidence in Senator Adeola’s leadership capacity, citing his record of service, legislative experience, and vision for the development of Ogun State.
He also commended Prince Dapo Abiodun for his developmental strides and dedication to the progress of Ogun East, noting that his representation at the National Assembly would be crucial to advancing the interests of the district.
The endorsement was warmly received by party members, who applauded the call for cohesion and shared purpose. Baba Asoludero urged APC faithful to close ranks, support the party’s candidates, and work together to ensure electoral success.
“As we step into this new year, let us reaffirm our commitment to the APC and the vision we share for our state,” he said. “This is the time to unite, support our candidates, and work tirelessly for a better future for Ogun State.”
