The Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele, joined the Nigerian delegation led by the Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Mallam Shehu Dikko, and the Director General, Bukola Olopade, at the Opening Ceremony of the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh.
She highlighted that Ogun’s growing presence in major sports events is a reflection of Governor Dapo Abiodun’s commitment to positioning the State as a true sports hub.
With athletes from over 50 countries participating, she noted that the Games continue to unite people beyond religion and nationality, while providing another platform for Team Nigeria to showcase excellence on the global stage.
She expressed optimism for a strong performance from Team Nigeria in the days ahead.
